How do I install Reciprocator ?In order for you to install Reciprocator, you need to read the file called readme.txt that comes with the package.
What permissions do the files have?
All permissions for each file are listed in parantheses next to the filenames, in the readme.txt file.
Do I need to modify any HTML files ?
No. There are no *.html files that must be edited for Reciprocator to work. However, you can edit test.shtml, which is a demo page that shows how to use the script.
How do I use Reciprocator ?
It is very easy to use Reciprocator. All you will need is to add a line such as <!--#include virtual="/cgi-bin/reciprocator.pl"--> on a *.shtml page.
Why doesn't Reciprocator work correctly ?
There can be several reasons, that include that you might not have SSI capabilities, that you must call it with <!--#exec cgi="..."--> instead of virtual include. For better result, make sure the CGI runs under your UID.
How do I get more help from you guys ?
You can register the script. If you would need a customization, we could do it at our hourly rate.
