What is it good for?
Counter is used to count the number of hits on your pages. It can be used to see what pages are popular and which aren't.The Results
First we will try to have it write out in bold blue arial numbers: 7569Then we will try to have it in italic red courier numbers: 7570
What about a green link to a search engine: 7571
Let's show today's hits as well as the total hits and make it a purple link and center it, on a beige background in a table (and make it italic):
The numbers that you can see on this page, are generated by the Counter script. If you reload this page, the numbers will increase. Since the same script is called 4 times on this page, it will increment by one hit from the previous display.
Help can be asked at the Counter Forum. StepWeb provides help only for registered versions. Customers have e-mail support.
There will be no Counter Gold as this is about how good an ASCII counter gets - really :-)
