How do I install Counter ?
In order for you to install Counter, you need to read the file called readme.txt that comes with the package.
What permissions do the files have?
All permissions for each file are listed in parantheses next to the filenames, in the readme.txt file.
Do I need to modify any HTML files ?
No.
How do I use Counter ?
In order for you to use the Counter, you must be able to run scripts under SSI (*.shtml). You will need to rename your HTML file, to have an *.shtml extension (instead of *.html). In that document you will put one line, that is <!--#include virtual="/cgi-bin/counter.pl"-->. Make sure that the URL is pointing to the script on your website.
How do I display today's/total hits ?
You will need to just append a question mark and a number two (2) at the end of the script's name (i.e. counter.pl?2).
How do I get more help from you guys ?
You can register the script. If you would need a customization, we could do it at our hourly rate.
Must I give you credit for your script ?
Yes. If you purchase the script you do not have to give credit.

There will be no Counter Gold as this is about how good an ASCII counter gets - really :-)
