How do I install AutoResponder ?
In order for you to install AutoResponder, you need to read the file called readme.txt that comes with the package.
What permissions do the files have?
All permissions for each file are listed in parantheses next to the filenames, in the readme.txt file.
Do I need to modify any HTML files ?
Yes. You will need to modify the files admin.html and index.html. You will need to find all the links and edit the URL link to point to the respective script.
How do I use AutoResponder ?
The very first step that you will have to do after the installation of AutoResponder, is to use the admin.html's "Add" feature. To make usage of the added AutoResponders, you will need to play with index.html.
How do I add AutoResponders?
In your admin.html, when you click add, you will see a page where you can add a: variable, subject, message, warning and success message. Fill all these fields out, and make sure to remember your variable name. You will then have to edit your index.html and uncomment the example. Replace the value="variable" with value="your_variable_name_here". To add more AutoResponders to the selection; copy and paste the example and change the variable name of each example to that of your AutoResponder.
How do I edit an AutoResponder ?
Use the List feature in your admin.html. This will give you a list of all your AutoResponders (and their subjects), which you can then select and edit.
What is the warning entry ?
This is a warning message that will be appended to your AutoResponder. In cases where a recipient receive a message (s)he did not request, (s)he will be able to read a warning that you would like him/her to see.
What is the success entry ?
This is the text that a visitor will see when (s)he has requested for a message by your AutoResponder. This text will be inserted into your template.tmp where the <!--success--> tag is found.
Can I customize the success page ?
Yes. Simply modify the template.tmp page. Make sure that you leave the <!--success--> tag where you would like the success message to appear.
How do I get more help from you guys ?
You can register the script. If you would need a customization, we could do it at our hourly rate.
Must I give you credit for your script ?
Yes. If you purchase the script you do not have to give credit.
